Defensive Pistol Phase I (indoor)

DP1A is the first half of our celebrated introduction to FIGHTING WITH HANDGUNS.

We will teach you how to keep your pistol when the bad guy tries to take yours away, even if he’s on top of you.

You’ll also practice how to off line and control the bad guy’s weapons, so you can stay alive long enough to get yours into action.

We will do role playing exercises and other hands-on training. No ammunition is required. The learning takes place in air-conditioned comfort. We can even run your family through these drills in the privacy of your own home.

This class (DP1A) is a prerequisite to our live-fire Phase II Defensive Pistol (DP1B), and the less intensive Defensive Pistol Skill Builder courses. Let us know about your prior training.

These classes are usually by appointment. They typically start at 9:00 am and should run till about 4:00 pm.

There is a lunch break; while you eat, we can discuss and demonstrate 4 different types of weapons (Edged, Impact, Flexible, and Projectile Launchers). This is so you will know how to maximize the advantages and minimize the disadvantages of your pistol when faced by opponents with different systems (whoever said “Never bring a knife to a gunfight” has never been attacked in an elevator).

Cost is $90 per student, $85 for returning students, and $50 for military / law enforcement / medical services students and their families. This course is FREE for military with deployment orders and their families.
